The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Trailer
The first trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was released today, and it looks like Peter Parker is in for a wild ride. The trailer opens with a scene of Spider-Man (Tom Holland) swinging through the streets of New York City, before he’s rudely interrupted by a car crashing into him. We then see Spider-Man waking up in what appears to be an alternate reality, where he’s living with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) and Uncle Ben (Joaquin Phoenix).
In this reality, Peter doesn’t seem to have his spider-powers, as he’s seen struggling to lift a car off of a trapped child. We also see him getting bullied at school, which leads to him getting punched in the face by Flash Thompson (Tony Revolori). However, things start to look up for Peter when he’s approached by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and offered a place on the Avengers team.
From there, we see glimpses of some of the other characters in the movie, including Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), Mary Jane Watson (Zendaya), and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld). We also get a few quick action scenes, including one where Spider-Man is fighting against Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), who seems to be under the control of Mysterio.
Overall, the trailer looks pretty exciting, and fans will no doubt be eager to see how “Spider-Man: No Way Home” turns out when it hits theaters on December 17th.
